Info on how we develop our protocols
PowerPhone routinely consults with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from the fields of 911 communications, law enforcement, fire/rescue, emergency medical services, mental health, and language. These SMEs serve a crucial role in vetting the content of our protocols and procedures. This is done through regular reviews where SMEs evaluate protocols and procedures and recommend changes to ensure they remain in line with current best practices.
All suggestions go through our Protocol and Procedure Review Committee (PPRC). This committee reviews and discusses the suggested revisions and ultimately decides which suggestions are accepted. This includes any new protocols and procedures developed.
Feedback from our users is also included in the PPRC process and considered when making changes to our standard off-the-shelf content.
